01What is Daggerr?+
Daggerr is an independent knife brand founded on August 1, 2017. The brand develops original knife designs and has created more than 80 model designs across folding knives, fixed blades, experimental pieces and the accessible Discover line.
02Does Daggerr exhibit at BLADE Show in the United States?+
Yes. Daggerr first exhibited at BLADE Show in 2018 with the Resident model and has returned to the show multiple times since. Daggerr was back at BLADE Show Atlanta in 2026, continuing its direct connection with the U.S. knife community.
03What is an EDC knife?+
EDC means Every Day Carry. An EDC knife is a knife chosen to be carried regularly for the recurring cutting tasks in your own routine. The right size, geometry, steel and mechanism depend on what you actually do most often.
04How should I choose an EDC knife?+
Daggerr starts with three questions: What is your comfortable budget? What task will the knife perform about 80% of the time? And do you genuinely like the knife enough to carry it? Those answers make specifications easier to evaluate.
05What is the Daggerr Discover line?+
Discover began in 2022 as a more approachable way to explore Daggerr and knife culture. The line uses different blade shapes, sizes and mechanisms, commonly with practical 8Cr14MoV steel and lightweight FRN handles.
06Why is STING called ZHALO in the United States?+
STING and ZHALO are two market names for the same Daggerr model family. Use ZHALO for the United States and STING for other markets. The rule applies to family variants as well, such as STING Slim / ZHALO Slim.
07What is the Screaming Skull clip?+
The Screaming Skull pocket clip is one of Daggerr's signature design elements. Introduced in 2018, it became a recognizable visual marker across many models and helped establish the brand's skull-based graphic language.
08What is the Cyclops clip?+
Cyclops is Daggerr's second major clip language. First introduced in June 2022 on Yaga, its shape evokes a one-eyed giant and a stylized letter D in a skull-inspired form. The community name 'Cyclops' became the name of the design family. Cyclops-equipped models can be carried by dealers in different international markets; stock varies by retailer.
09What is Daggerr Hole?+
Daggerr Hole is a functional blade-opening feature shaped as part of Daggerr's visual identity. It carries the skull motif from the brand's clip language into the blade and appears on multiple model families.
10Why does Daggerr use D2 steel?+
D2 has long been used on Daggerr models as a practical balance of cost and working edge retention. Like any knife steel, it benefits from sensible care: keep the blade clean and dry and do not treat any finish as complete protection from corrosion or wear.
11What does HRC mean on a knife specification?+
HRC is Rockwell C hardness, a scale used to describe the hardness of hardened steel. It is one specification, not a complete quality score: blade geometry, heat treatment, steel chemistry and the intended use all matter too.
12How should I care for a Daggerr knife?+
Remove food, moisture and dirt after use, dry the knife thoroughly, keep the pivot area reasonably clean and use an appropriate light lubricant when needed. For internal maintenance or disassembly, follow the instructions and service guidance that apply to your exact model and market.
13Can a folding Daggerr be used outdoors, for fishing or hunting tasks?+
A folding knife can be a useful compact tool for many everyday outdoor tasks, but it does not replace purpose-built hunting, fishing or heavy-duty tools. Clean and dry a folder carefully after exposure to moisture, dirt or organic material.
14Does Daggerr make one-off custom knives?+
Daggerr's core business is production models rather than one-off custom commissions. Limited editions, material changes and experimental releases do appear in the brand's history; the Museum documents many of them.
15Where can I buy Daggerr internationally?+
Use Daggerr's Where to Buy directory for retailers in the United States, Canada, Europe and the UK, Australia and Georgia. If the model you want is not listed, ask the retailer whether they can source it for you.
16What should I do if no store in my country carries Daggerr?+
Ask an established knife retailer you already trust whether they can bring in Daggerr or source the model you want. Retailer requests show that local demand exists. You can also contact Daggerr at info@daggerrknives.com for help finding the right route.
17What does Highly Allocated mean for a Daggerr knife?+
Highly Allocated means dealer availability is tight and a retailer may need to request that model specifically. It does not automatically mean the knife is discontinued, and it does not automatically mean the release is a numbered limited edition.
18Can a dealer request a Highly Allocated Daggerr model?+
Yes. Dealers should ask their Daggerr wholesale channel about the exact model and current allocation. U.S. dealers can work through Blue Ridge Knives; international dealers can use Daggerr Trading or contact Daggerr for the appropriate route.
19Are retail and after-sales terms the same worldwide?+
No. Retail pricing, promotions, payment, shipping, returns, warranty handling and after-sales service are set by the local retailer and can differ by country and seller. Check the dealer's current terms before purchasing.
