Choose the Chili Pepper for playful object-inspired design; the Corgi for clean symmetry and discreet carry; the Delica for a mature, function-first identity; or the BEGEMOT Slim for the most visual blade presence without the expected weight.
This is a comparison, not a ranking. The four knives differ materially in size, price, lock and intended feel. They are grouped because each is easy to recognize across a table or in a pocket photo—not because they solve every cutting task equally well.

DESIGN IDENTITY
Four different ways to become recognizable.
Swaggs' design uses the curve and color association of a chili pepper rather than hiding behind a conventional drop-point outline. The red G10 and black blade version is the most literal expression. A front flipper, thumb stud and button lock also make interaction part of its personality.
The Corgi is built around visual balance. In the closed position, its 2.99-inch blade disappears into a smooth, almost mirrored handle profile. The idea is quieter than the Chili Pepper, but just as deliberate: the knife looks like one continuous object instead of a blade folded into a handle.
The Delica is distinctive because Spyderco allowed use to shape the object. The round opening hole, pronounced thumb ramp, textured FRN and back-lock architecture create a silhouette that does not need bright color or decorative hardware to be identified.
BEGEMOT starts with apparent mass: a broad, cleaver-influenced 3.86-inch blade and a handle that visually continues its weight. The Slim reverses the expectation with a 2 mm blade stock and an 81-gram build. It looks heavier than it carries.
ERGONOMICS & DAILY USE
A memorable outline always creates a trade-off.
The Chili Pepper's curved handle supports its visual idea and multiple opening methods encourage fidget-friendly use, but buyers should confirm that the curve suits their hand. The Corgi's rounded symmetry is easy in a pocket and appropriate in quieter environments, though its neutral shape provides fewer obvious indexing cues.
The Delica's hump, thumb ramp and bi-directional handle texture are visually unconventional because they prioritize access, control and low weight. The BEGEMOT Slim offers the longest blade here and unusually low weight for its size, but its broad profile occupies more visual and physical space than a conventional three-inch EDC.
154CM, 14C28N and VG-10 are all established stainless knife steels. For everyday use, blade geometry, sharpening, corrosion exposure and the handle that actually fits your hand can matter more than choosing among these names in isolation.
