THE SHORT TIMELINE

How the Daggerr vocabulary expanded.

The point of this timeline is not to turn every release into a milestone. It records the changes that explain what Daggerr is today.

2017

Daggerr begins

Daggerr has been creating knives since August 1, 2017. The early catalog established the brand's interest in long dagger-inspired profiles, unusual proportions and recognizable everyday tools.

2018

The Screaming Skull and first BLADE Show

The first signature Screaming Skull pocket clip appeared in 2018. The same year, Daggerr took Resident to BLADE Show for the first time, beginning a U.S. exhibition history that would continue with multiple later appearances.

2022

Discover and Cyclops widen the language

Discover opened a more accessible route into Daggerr through varied blade shapes, locks and sizes. The same year, Cyclops debuted on Yaga and created a second major pocket-clip language.

2024

Historical forms meet modern EDC

Projects such as Navaja developed Daggerr's long-running interest in translating historical silhouettes into contemporary folding knives rather than reproducing historical weapons.

2025

Nightmare reaches premium production

After a development idea that began in 2018, the Nightmare family expanded in 2025 with MagnaCut blades, titanium handles and three blade-size references: 99 mm, 77 mm and 63 mm.

2026

Nine years in one Museum

The English Daggerr Museum now brings together 163 releases, prototypes, experiments and limited editions from the brand's first nine years.

WHAT STAYED CONSISTENT

Character before category.

Daggerr has made compact folders, oversized folders, fixed blades, historical interpretations and deliberately accessible Discover models. They do not need one silhouette to look related. The connection is a willingness to make the functional details visible: the Screaming Skull clip, Daggerr Hole, Cyclops and recurring graphic ideas that can move between model families.

That also explains why the archive matters. A current knife can make more sense when you can see the prototypes and earlier releases that led to it.

THE PRIMARY RECORD

See the knives, not just the dates.

The Daggerr Museum is the visual record behind this timeline. It covers 2017 through 2026 and preserves model names, materials and release chronology — including designs that are no longer part of the current retail catalog.

Current availability is separate from history

A museum entry documents a Daggerr release; it does not promise that the model is currently stocked. Use the retailer directory for live buying routes and confirm exact inventory with the dealer.
